General information about the online store

Online store products are sold by JAS Kamerakauppa  / JAS Tekniikka OY. Business ID 1091427-9

In addition to the www.jaskamerakauppa.fi online store, the products are on sale in our stores in Turku and Helsinki.

We sell products to companies and private individuals of legal age in Finland and worldwide. The prices of new products include 25.5% VAT. There is no deductible VAT on used and vintage products, unless it is mentioned in the product information.

We deliver products to the EU region outside of Finland to companies and entities with a Business ID (VAT no) without VAT, as long as the VAT is deductible on the ordered products.

JAS Tekniikka Oy is not liable for any damage or inconvenience caused by delays due to force majeure.

We reserve the right to change delivery terms, prices and postage costs. The customer is responsible for reading and accepting the applicable delivery terms and conditions.



Ordering

Products are generally ordered online at www.jaskamerakauppa.fi via the shopping cart. When ordering, the customer is obliged to provide up-to-date contact information, which includes at least name, address, telephone number and possible email address.

All orders are confirmed by email, which states the price of the order, shipping costs and the ordered products. In order to receive an order confirmation, you must provide an email address when ordering. As a logged-in customer, you can also check the contents of your order through your user account and view your previous purchases.

The customer commits to the delivery conditions in force with each order.



Payment methods

The products and their postage are paid when ordering. Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) operates as the payment intermediary service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. From the user's perspective, the service works just like traditional online payments.

The following payment methods can be used in the online store:

Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on the account statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to JAS Tekniikka Oy. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license. In cases of complaints, we ask that you first contact the supplier of the product.

Delivery method and delivery costs

The ordered product will be delivered either by post or you can pick it up from our store. Our selection also includes products that can be delivered by email, such as gift cards. Possible delivery costs include postage and packaging costs.

Pick up: When picking up from the Turku or Helsinki store, delivery is free. You will receive a notification when the product you ordered is ready for pick-up in the store. Ordered products can be picked up from the store on weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm.
Posti: The normal delivery cost for products ordered by post is €6.95 for parcels and €4.50 for letters. You can track the progress of the package delivery using the postal tracking number, which you will receive by email or text message after ordering. There is no tracking for letter shipments. If delivery is desired as a "fragile" package, a separate package handling fee will be added to the delivery costs according to Posti's current prices. Email: Delivery of products delivered by email is free. The product will be delivered as a printable PDF file to the customer's email.
Outside Finland, we deliver standard-sized orders by air freight and shipping costs vary by country. You can see the final shipping price in the shopping cart.




Delivery time

Pick up: When picking up from the store, we will notify you as soon as the product you ordered is ready for pick-up in the store. Products in stock can normally be picked up on the same or next business day. You can pick up the ordered products from the Turku or Helsinki store on weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm.
Posti: Products in stock ordered by post will be shipped on the same or next business day. Post delivery for packages normally takes 1-3 business days, but the delivery time may vary depending on the season.
Email: Products ordered by email will be delivered to the customer's email address on the same or next business day.


If the product is currently not in stock, you can contact us and ask for more information about the delivery time. If the delivery of the ordered product takes longer than expected, we will notify you of the abnormal delivery time without delay. You can also order products that have a longer delivery time than normal. We will deliver the product as soon as it arrives at the warehouse.

JAS Tekniikka Oy reserves the right not to deliver large quantities at once without prior agreement.




Warranty conditions

New products generally have a 12-month warranty or longer, if separately stated. The warranty is determined in accordance with the warranty terms specified by the manufacturer. Product-specific warranty terms can be found in the equipment's warranty cards, user manuals or the purchase receipt, which also serves as a warranty card for most products.
Used products have a minimum 6-month warranty when purchased from JAS Tekniikka Oy. In the event of a defect, if the repair costs exceed the value of the device, the maximum compensation is cancellation of the transaction and a refund of the purchase price, minus any possible use benefit.
Vintage products generally have a 6-month warranty. Any product-specific, deviating warranty is stated in the product information in the online store.



Exchange and return conditions

The customer has a 14-day right of exchange and return in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. For new products the right of return applies to unused and saleable products in the original packaging. For used and vintage products, it applies to products that are in the same condition as at the time of purchase, including all accessories that came with the product. Spare parts are not eligible for exchange or return. Spare parts may require adjustment with the manufacturer's test and adjustment equipment after installation in order to function correctly. We always recommend that spare parts be installed in a repair shop authorized by the manufacturer.

The product information for new products from JAS Tekniikka Oy is based on the declaration of importers or manufacturers. We are not responsible for any incorrectly declared product information. Incorrect information entitles the user to return the unused product within a maximum of 14 days.


Products can be returned via Posti or by bringing it to our stores. JAS Tekniikka Oy does not accept cash on delivery or shipments sent via Matkahuolto. The customer is responsible for shipping costs.


Please include the following information with your return:

Your customer number, name, address and telephone number.
A copy of JAS Tekniikka Oy's order confirmation.

Returned products must be carefully packaged and padded. Tape or address labels must not be attached to the sales packaging of cameras and other devices. Products must be packed in a separate shipping box for transport. A product returned in damaged sales packaging does not entitle you to a full refund of the purchase price.

Once the return has been approved and processed, the money will be returned to your account via Paytrail Oyj.



Problem situations regarding transport and defective products

If the product has been lost during transport, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer must report the error immediately by e-mail to myynti@jastekniikka.fi or by post

Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product. If the package is damaged at Posti, the product must be immediately complained to Posti.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. Before placing an order, the customer must familiarize himself with the delivery conditions valid at the moment.
